The "Archives" category contains mostly heavier guitar oriented songs from 1985 to
1991. Some were done
in a 16 track studio with full instrumentation, others on a 4
track home studio with various drum machines. Please keep an open mind when
listening to these - expect plenty of pops, clicks, hiss, buzzes, cheesy edits,
and vocals that may hit the ear in a bad way.

A heavy instrumental with a light intro. 16 track studio. Ran out of budget in the middle of the project so it never got any leads or vocals.

A heavy tune with my silly vocals. 16 track studio. Playing an acoustic drum set and letting it trigger sounds from a drum machine provided kind of an odd drum sound.

This song was written to amuse the people I worked with at a telemarketing firm in a past life. "Verifiers" would call people back to make sure telemarketers' sales were legitimate. 4 tracks and a halfway decent drum machine.

Heavy four track tune with ambitiously bad vocals (I've always liked the music though). This was originally intended to be a long and drawn out epic type of tune, but was abandoned due to short attention span.

This tune was created by tapping in random and unconnected drum patterns into a drum machine. And then putting them in no particular order. And then seeing if it was possible to put other instruments on top of that. Weirdness.

The first verse of lyrics was read from the back of a nearby cassette tape case wrapper. The second verse from the back cover of a national radio & TV station guide.

Flowing soundtrack fusion that transitions from quiet to busy, indicative of that brief and quiet moment where night turns to morning. 1999. Slated for a rewrite/remix with newer equipment.

Standard commercial keyboard ditty that might put you to sleep. You only need to search the photo section of this site to find out who Opal and Buford really are. It's just a shame Buford doesn't love Opal as much. 1995.
